Forget-Me-Not Veterinary is a service created just for home euthanasia for cats and dogs in Columbia, SC. Our goal is to provide your beloved pet with a peaceful and comfortable experience at your home.

Currently we will be accepting phone calls Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm.

Please know that we may not be able to answer the phone right away if we are with other patients. If you reach out to us by text, email, or voicemail, we will do our best to get back to you within 24 hours.

COVID-19 and At Home Euthanasia

Forget-Me-Not Veterinary is currently seeing patients. In order to continue seeing patients, we are asking clients to be flexible and understanding during this unprecedented time. Dr. Knight can only continue to provide this service if she remains healthy. 

 

We are unable to help any families who have members who are sick, are in quarantine, or have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 2 weeks.

 Please call your regular veterinarian for further guidance.

 

To protect your family and ours, we are taking the following precautions:

•  Dr. Knight is trying to protect the immune compromised clients and children as much as possible, while still allowing owners to be close to their pets. Please feel free to wear masks.

• Outdoor euthanasia is preferred if weather and space allows and your dog is mobile. A favorite bed brought outside in a garden or on a porch can be a lovely surrounding for your dog. 

• We are disinfecting thoroughly between all appointments.

• Our consent forms will be sent for electronic signature prior to our arrival at your home

 

It is so unfortunate that we must take these precautions because we love getting close to our families and their pets. We desperately miss giving our clients hugs!  Please know that we do care about you and your family and we are doing our best so that we can continue to provide this very important service.  Please contact us to discuss any questions or concerns.
