Learn About Dr. Crystal Knight and
Her Compassionate Veterinary Care
Dr. Crystal Knight has been a practicing veterinarian for over 25 years in the Columbia area of South Carolina. During this time she has come to know that providing a peaceful euthanasia experience for our pets, surrounded by family at home, is one of the most important parts of her work as a veterinarian. After developing a special interest in providing families with the best end-of-life care for their pets, she became certified in Companion Animal Euthanasia through the Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy, with over 50 hours of continuing education.

Finishing her undergraduate degree from Clemson University in Animal Science in 1995, Dr. Knight graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000.
Dr. Knight has practiced in small animal clinics in the Lexington and Columbia region, as a spay/neuter surgeon for The Humane Society of the Midlands traveling to rural areas on a mobile clinic, and taught at Piedmont Technical College in Newberry in the Veterinary Technician Program. She is currently working with Final Victory Animal Rescue to assist with the care of their residents. As a resident of Irmo and Columbia since 1985, Dr. Knight is familiar with many of the local veterinary clinics, and she will be honored to let your veterinary office know of your pet's passing if you so choose.

During her time away from work, Dr. Knight can be found supporting her sons in whatever endeavor they are undertaking. She also enjoys reading, bird watching, playing the piano, hiking, and spending time with her husband, two sons, and her Bullmastiff, Charleigh.
